I'm an occupational therapist who is here to help you lead a more contented life, based on what is important and meaningful to you. I have an established private counselling practice, working from Trinity Clinic in North Cairns since 2015. I am also available for counselling via Skype or Zoom platforms.  Face to face counselling attracts a Medicare rebate if you are under a Mental Health Plan via your GP or specialist. Online counselling Medicare rebates are available depending on how far away you reside from Cairns.

Since graduating in 1990, I have spent my career working with people in the community on their mental health recovery journeys. In my private practice I see people from all walks of life, from those experiencing the impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, substance use issues, to those experiencing the disruption of severe and enduring mental illness, along with people facing the need to make adjustments after unexpected life events.

Neurodivergent adults with co-occuring mental health and wellbeing issues, family members or parents of children with ASD/ADHD and other special needs looking for support and understanding are particularly welcome. I try to make the counselling space one which keeps in mind your sensory needs and sensitivities and recognise your mental wellbeing can be intimately connected with your environment.
